Our Nonprofit Organization

An established nonprofit organization since 1997 with a mission to build community in an environment that nurtures and supports families, we strive to make our midwifery care accessible to everyone.

Our Mission

To empower, educate, and inspire families through access to midwifery care, a community birth center, and a network of support.

Support Us

The Juneau Family Birth Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that relies on the generous contributions of our community. Our Donated Health Care Program sponsors a family’s maternity care with our midwives, regardless of their ability to pay. All donations help to increase our community’s access to quality healthcare sevices and improves overall community health one family at a time.
