Ingrid Judson

I am a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, having received my first formal massage certification at Heartwood Institute in Garberville, California in 1990, and my Professional Bodyworker-Massage Therapist degree through the East-West College of the Healing Arts in 1992. Additional training I have completed include Structural Integration, Polarity Therapy, Tellington Touch, and Quantum Touch. I will complete a course in Side-Lying/Pregnancy Massage in March 2008.

My current practice includes working in a chiropractic office, at the Juneau Family Birth Center, as well as owning my own business, Massage By Ingrid, in Juneau.

I have lived in Alaska most of my life, receiving my Bachelor of Arts Degree in anthropology from University of Alaska Anchorage in 1983. I love to travel and have traveled extensively within the state of Alaska as an archeological field assistant in Barrow, the Aleutians, the Seward Peninsula, Kenai Peninsula and Alaska Peninsula, as well as Hawaii. I have also travelled to remote sites in Alaska with my search and rescue dog, and have spent a year traveling throughout Australia and New Zealand.

I have raised a son who is a Doctor of Chiropractic and all four of my grandchildren were delivered by midwives.
