Our Birth Center is a warm, inviting space to welcome your child into the world. We will treat you with respect and kindness throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Many women find that giving birth at a birth center creates a family centered, peaceful and non intimidating environment for both themselves and their baby. Our Birth Center combines the privacy and comfort of a homelike setting with the safety and experience of care by certified midwives.

We have three private birthing rooms in our Birth Center, each with its own tub and a private bathroom. During your labor in one of these rooms, we will guide you in following a course that is right for your body and your labor. We encourage movement, eating, drinking and the use of the tub or shower to aid you in comfort and relaxation, and we will monitor your baby and you for progression and safety. We welcome your chosen birthing companions and can help them in assisting you, while also ensuring they remain comfortable.

We also have a family room for additional guests to be near while still maintaining your privacy in your birth room. This family room includes a kitchen, comfortable sofas, a television with videos, and toys and games to make the wait comfortable.

Siblings of the newborn are also welcome to participate at any level that is comfortable for the laboring mom. Our activity room is available for kids to play in while they wait, full of toys and plenty of room to wiggle. Children will also be welcome in the birth room, as long as they have an adult attendant designated specifically for them.
